Transverse, parabolic auxiliary grooves with finely incised support grooves work to prevent uneven tire wear and reduce road noise.

Enlarged shoulder tread blocks promote improved handling performance and directional stability.

A reinforced "Rim Protect Bar" is designed into the sidewall for additional rigidity to prevent damage to expensive aluminium wheels from curbs adn other hazards.
